Igniting a passion for cooking
As a qualified primary teacher with 20 years of experience across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, I’ve always loved cooking and creating new recipes. My greatest passion is to share this joy with children, helping them learn new skills, discover different foods, and explore exciting recipes. At Future Foodies Education, we believe every child can become a confident and creative cook.
What makes us special?
Future Foodies Education stands out by offering fun, engaging, and interactive sessions designed to spark culinary curiosity. Children learn new recipes in every class and get to take a recipe card home to recreate their masterpieces. Each child also receives a certificate upon completion. As a qualified teacher, I understand how to interact and teach all ages and needs, ensuring a supportive and enriching environment for every child.
Meet the founder
My journey to creating Future Foodies Education is rooted in 20 years of primary education, teaching children from EYFS through to KS2. I have extensive experience teaching children with SEND, allowing me to adapt sessions to meet diverse needs. My love for cooking, hosting, and teaching naturally combined into this venture. I am also paediatric first aid trained, a designated safeguarding lead (DSL), enhanced DBS checked, level 2 food hygiene trained, and food allergen trained, ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment.
